Below are some photos from a recent trip. A friend and I went up into the local mountains and had fun exploring in the snow. Here is a photo of his Jeep LJ at the top of one of the climbs.
I followed along in a 100 series Land Cruiser.
After we went over the pass as shown in the photos above, the trail narrowed and became off camber. As we descended, the trail became even more sketchy. We eventually had to winch the LJ, which was the lead vehicle, to a tree to continue. As the sun started to drop in the sky, we decided to turn around and head back up the pass. We used a pair of Maxtrax I brought along to climb back up to the pass and put the LJ’s winch to good use on the last section.
All in all, it was a great day out in the snow.
